A Designer's Jump Start
Flash® has become an unparalleled phenomenon, from its early days as a simple animation tool to its ability to create entire applications to the fact that it is the defacto standard for delivering video on the web. But for designers coming from a traditional graphic arts background, the learning curve can seem like a brick wall.
During this session, we will break down the wall and expose the nuts and bolts to make you successful with Flash. You’ll learn all about buttons, movieclips, animation and video, as well as the basics of Actionscript, the powerful scripting language of Flash.
We will cover basic timeline interactions, button interactions, loading external assets, controlling sound/video, leveraging cuepoints in audio/video through Actionscript. When all is said and done, you’ll walk away with the essential knowledge to get the most out of Flash.
Special bonus: All event attendees will be eligible to enter to for a chance to win a copy of the CS4® Suite. One lucky attendee will receive the software for their preferred OS.
