Third Dimension — Isometric Perspective workshop

Iowa State 3D Animation Professor Anson Call, demonstrated the software package Cinema 4D in this second installment of the Dimensions of Perspective Workshop Series.

Professor Call worked through several 3D modeling techniques, while some participants followed along on their laptops. He also showed games he has developed to teach sixth grade students the fundamentals of Cinema 4D animation through basic physics.

Professor Call took time to show some of his student work as well as his own work in relation to his science fiction writing and fascination of 3D animated clocks.

In 2014, he published an e-textbook “Cinema 4D R15 Fundamentals for Teachers and Students.” See more at: http://www.news.iastate.edu/news/2014/10/02/ansoncall#sthash.TWTWeQsN.dpuf

Thanks to Professor Call for your fun and insightful 3D workshop. Also, thank you Grand View University for the use of your classroom and media equipment for this event. Our final workshop will be April 16 on 2D Illustration (Linear Perspective) with Candace Camling.
