Domestica opened their doors to us and local mixologist and restaurant consultant, Jeff Naples. Jeff, also known as “The Beard Behind the Bar” mixed cocktails as he spoke about the connection between design and drinks, from the impact of a bottle label design to the final presentation.
With a passion for fresh produce and a knack for blending unexpected ingredients, Jeff challenged our palates with creative concoctions such as a fresh beet, mint, ginger and gin drink, to refreshing tomato and vodka blend.
The colorful drinks looked perfectly at home in the ebullient atmosphere of Domestica, a local shop located in the East Village. Jeff cited the colorful posters and cards surrounding us in the quaint shop as a constant inspiration for his farm to table menus.
