Join us in celebrating the culmination of the fifth annual AIGA Iowa Design Assign with a gala exhibition and guest speaker, Andrea Love of (c)3 Marketing, from 6-8 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 7, at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.

As part of the national AIGA Design for Good initiative, AIGA Iowa partners area creatives with non-profit organizations of the greater Des Moines area through Design Assign — an initiative to benefit our communities, our country and the world. 11 designers of various emphases coordinated with 10 area non-profits over a period of four months. The projects that have resulted — identity systems, fliers, websites, and more — will help raise awareness and funds for their causes.

6:00 pm: Registration and project exhibition

6:15 pm: Networking, appetizers & drinks (take some time to meet designers and non-profit professionals from the area)

7:00 pm: Brief presentation about the impact of Design Assign on non-profits

7:15 pm: Presentation by special guest, Andrea Love of (c)3 Marketing Group

7:45 pm: Questions & Closing

This event is free for Design Assign participants and one guest. Additional guests and the public are invited to attend for a fee of $10. Light appetizers and drinks will be available.
