As part of the national AIGA Design for Good initiative, AIGA Iowa partnered area creatives with non-profit organizations of the greater Des Moines area through Design Assign — an initiative to benefit our communities, our country and the world. Nineteen designers of various emphases coordinated with 16 area non-profits over a period of four months. The projects that have resulted — identity systems, fliers, websites and more — will help raise awareness and funds for their causes.
This October, Design Assign will be culminating with a Gala at the Windsor Heights Community Center to celebrate all of the hard work donated by area designers to these non-profit organizations. Join us Thursday, October 23rd to view the resulting projects and the meet designers behind them. Project presentations will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m., but doors open for mingling and networking at 6:00.
The Gala is free to attend and open to the public, but please RSVP so we can plan appropriately for food and drinks.
