818 is a design studio located in downtown Des Moines that specializes in brand development, environmental graphic design and graphic services for the brewing, restaurant and hospitality industries. 818 has been in operation in Iowa since April of 2013, but their experience dates back more than 10 years as leaders of the Multimedia and Graphic Design department for a local architectural firm where they had the opportunity to work on design projects for a number of athletic, recreation and corporate facilities across the U.S., incorporating large format murals and dimensional signage into interior and exterior spaces.

Designers at 818 believe great graphic design is only great if it accomplishes the right goals, whether that’s evoking emotion, increasing brand equity, driving sales or building the brand within a building.
