What is Design Week?

AIGA Iowa’s Design Week is a series of vibrant events and programs created to bring Iowa’s creative community together to focus on one common theme: celebrating the impact and value of design in Iowa.

How can I get involved?

There are so many ways to be a part of this amazing week! If you’d like to meet new people, learn something new, and have a great time, attend one of the scheduled Design Week events below. If you’d like to get hands on and help plan an event or volunteer (and get a free ticket while you’re at it), we’d love that too! Just email us with some information on how you’d like to get involved, and we’ll welcome you to our volunteer crew.

What if I don’t live in Des Moines?

That’s okay! Get creative! Carpool with a coworker or even make a department field trip to one of our events. If you’re a member, you can also apply to organize an event in your area. Contact our Programming Director if you’re interested in bringing a big idea to your city for Design Week and we’ll work with you to make it happen.
